5-8 of October 2011 two major exhibitions in the area of interior furnishing, furniture technologies and components took place in Kyiv: Design Living Tendency and MTKT(Furniture Technologies, Components, Textiles).

On October 6, within the frames of Design Living Tendency exhibition the presentation of the TheaterofModernDesign was held, where the actors of the theater, being the unique design objects, as well as the theater directors, i.e. the designers who created them, were announced. The initiator of the project Kyiv International Contract Fair, Ltd., that managed to unite designers with manufacturers in this way.
